Classes and Activities for Children and Youth: Our Sunday morning 'The Adventure Zone' (8:30 AM - 12:30 PM) provide an exciting variety of Bible-learning activities for children from kindergarten through grade five. The programs include singing, crafts, Bible lessons, games and other more. Our Sunday morning 'The Adventure Zone' meets at the school, directly across the street from the church. Royal Rangers    Missionettes   

Royal Rangers* & Missionettes** At 7:00 PM on Wednesday, we also offer Royal Rangers for boys and Missionettes for girls (Elementary through High School age). Royal Rangers meet at the elementary school. Missionettes meet in H. W. Ezell Hall and then go to various classrooms [Daisy: West Fellowship, Prim: H. W. Royal Rangers We invite boys from Kindergarten through 8th grade to join us on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. for Royal Rangers.  We meet in the cafeteria of Pacific Harbor Christian School, directly across Wilmington Boulevard from the church. (see CAMPUS MAP)

Royal Rangers is the official Assemblies of God ministry for boys.  Our motto is “Reaching, teaching and keeping boys for Christ.” 

Royal Rangers gives boys a chance to make new friends and to experience fun and adventure through activities such as camping, hiking, crafts and sports.  Their spiritual walk will be strengthened through devotions, Bible study, Christian fellowship and learning how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  They’ll learn new skills and earn achievement awards.

“Ranger Kids” is for boys from Kindergarten through Grade 2.

“Discovery Rangers” is for boys in grades 3 through 5.

“Adventure Rangers” is for boys in grades 6-8.

Missionettes is the Assemblies of God program for girls from Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12. Classes focus on spiritual instruction for everyday life, but do so in a way that makes learning fun. Our Missionette clubs meet on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., during the regular mid-week worship service time. Meetings are held from September through June. During July and August, the girls, along with the Royal Rangers, are incorporated into our Wednesday evening Vacation Bible School.

The older girls (Kindergarten through High School) meet together for a lively time of praise and worship in H. W. Ezell Hall (south end of main building) at 7:00 p.m. At approximately 7:30, they go to their various classrooms for a time of fun, fellowship and Bible-based teaching.

During July and August, the Royal Rangers and Missionettes are on summer break. In place of these groups, we offer Vacation Bible School on Wednesday evenings for children from Kindergarten through Grade Five.

Crossfire Student Ministry

Student Ministries (Jr. High - High School) Our youth service meets on Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM. in Halo Hall under the guidance of Youth Pastor Ralph Giordano. Check the bulletin for additional youth activities. Home fellowship groups, summer camps, retreats, youth and camp-outs at various times during the year adds enjoyment to our programs.

Men's Fellowship Breaking New Ground: God IS calling the men of ALL fellowships to take their heritage as “priest” in their Church, Homes and communities. Monday nights are a time of Food, Fellowship, Worship and GOD’S WORD. This ministry meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month and is led by Rev. Rudy Corona and Percy Alexander. Women's Ministries Circle Of Friends, Women's Bible Study meet on second and fourth Mondays of the month at 7:00 p.m. in Halo Hall north of the main sanctuary. The leader is Bonnie Orona. Child care available.

Prime Timers Breakfast ClubThe Prime Timers: A weekly 8:15 am breakfast fellowship at Coco's Restaurant, 3615 PCH (@ Madison) in Torrance, gives Seniors 55 and older a chance to get to know one another. Buy your own breakfast; leave when you have to. A once-a-month Seniors Night Out dinner provides a Friday evening fellowship opportunity for seniors who cannot attend daytime meetings and fellowships. Contact Rudy Corona for details.

God's Crafter's Meets 1st and 3rd MONDAYS at 7pm in West Fellowship Hall (see CAMPUS MAP) ; Children’s Class: 7pm-8pm; Adult Class: 7pm-9pm.Contact Virginia Deel for more information.

Bible Classes At Harbor Christian Center, we give a high priority to the study of God's Word. Some classes offered are of general interest, while others are aimed specifically at couples, parents and new believers. Currently we have a group meeting on Tuesday morning in addition to the Bible topics presented in men's, women's, singles' and other groups.

HCC Hispanic FellowshipHispanic Fellowship Under the leadership of Marco Torres, our Spanish language congregation meets in Halo Hall at 1579 Wilmington Boulevard (1/2 block north of the church; (see CAMPUS MAP) ) every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Child care is provided at the church.

Prayer Meetings Intercessors meet before Sunday service at 7:45 am (in the West Fellowship Hall - (see CAMPUS MAP)) and Wednesday evenings 6:15 pm in the Chapel just off the Main Sanctuary.(see CAMPUS MAP) to intercede for the Services. There are other Intercessory Prayer opportunities throughout the week at Harbor Christian Center, including an early-morning time of prayer at 6:00 a.m. each Friday in the Chapel (see CAMPUS MAP); Intercessory Prayer Friday at 7:30 PM. in the West Fellowship Hall (see CAMPUS MAP) and a Spanish Language Bible Study. First Saturday of the month prayer 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary. Hispanic Prayer 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month in the Conference Room (see CAMPUS MAP) 8 PM to 10 PM.

Chemical Dependency Group This group meets every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, above the church Library. (see CAMPUS MAP) The group's leader, Ross Marquez, welcomes anyone who is struggling with an alcohol or drug problem. A supportive, small-group setting provides help that is based on a Biblical perspective of life.

Music Ministries Music is an essential part of worship. At Harbor Christian Center we offer a wide variety of activities for those with an interest in either vocal or instrumental music. Contact Liz Gutierrez at the church (310/835-5661) if you are interested in these ministries.

Outreach Ministries As a means of reaching the needy and homeless with both the Gospel message. We have volunteers who minister at the Beacon Light Mission in Wilmington on the fourth Friday of each month. Our volunteer ministries include nursing home visitation and Sidewalk Sunday School. Media Ministry  Some of Pastor Don's current messages are available here on line as MP3s. DVD recordings of sermons and special programs are available for a donation of $10. Order envelopes and a drop box in which to place orders are in the foyer across from the library.

Park and Ride parking lot clean up infoThe HCC congregation meets at the Park & Ride Lot every 4th Saturday of the month from 10 am -12 noon to clean up. The Park & Ride Lot is located on the north east corner of PCH at Figueroa. Join us, bring your brooms, clippers, rakes and gloves, as we clean up the lot as a withness and a service to the Wilmington community.
